SFVS PARTICIPATING IN FDA CLINICAL TRIAL

(August 5, 2008) -The clinical trial, sponsored by Novartis, will evaluate the efficacy of Atopica (cyclosporine) for allergies in cats. Cats must be on adequate flea control and screened for food allergy with a food trial for 6 weeks with no benefit. In addition, cats must be free of drugs for a specific time period prior to entering the study. Visits, bloodwork, and the test drug are free of charge.
